| Notes |
- [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #5006, Date of Import: Apr 26, 1997]
William was baptized 12/6/1788 at Holmfirth, chapelry of
Kirkburton. We have a "traced" copy of the marriage certificate (from
Mormon records). Ceremony performed by B. Hutchinson at
Kirkburton.
According to handwritten notes (source unknown), William and
Rachel arrived direct in Milwaukee from England on July 17, 1843.
Their port of entry was New York City. He survived in the new
country only a year. His profession in England was that of clothier
(weaver).
