Ann was sometimes called Elizabeth. Baptized 1/4/1835 by B.
Hutchinson. Her place of birth was listed as "Shepley".
Remarried Alonzo B. Cady (born May 23, 1823) on November 2,
1886 in Omro, Wisc. Alonzo was previously married to Eliza R. Gilbert,
who died August 14, 1885 in Burlingame, Kansas. They had five
children. Alonzo died March 30, 1907 in Washington County, Oregon.
Ann was buried in Progress Cemetery, Beaverton, (Washington
County), Oregon.
Documents concerning James H. Martin and Ann Lee Martin Cady,

1) Declaration for Widow's Pension, filed by Ann 4/24/1907
2) Declaration for Original Pension of a Widow, etc., filed 10/18/1884,
which claimed that James H. Martin had contracted pneumonia and
throat disease while stationed in Kansas in October of 1865.
