Died on a train in Arizona. Buried briefly in Forest Home Cemetery, West Allis. Transferred to cemetery in Clintonville, Wisconsin on April 4, 1929. Charles and Jennie divorced in December, 1916, in Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. They had been married 38 years. Charles was a thirty-third degree Mason.
