- [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #5006, Date of Import: Apr 26, 1997]
Excerpt from the 1942 Schneller Genealogy: When a mere girl in her teens she
shouldered the burden of a woman or even a man. She often plowed behind the
oxen. She was the diplomat who dealt with the Indians and made them like it.
A heroic Mother and Pioneer wife. She often walked six miles to Church and
back in the moring and repeated again for the evening service, often alone.
Aunt Barabara has left a lasting impression and inspiration for all of us.
