Martha's godmother was Anna Keim. Martha was a twin sister of Margaret.
Martha died as the result of an illegal operation (abortion) performed by a Dr.
William Dillon. The father of the child, Charles Kenefick, denied any
responsibility, as did the doctor. Frank Lossos attempted to arrange a
marriage, but Kenefick refused to consider it. On her deathbed, Martha said
that Kenefick was responsible and he had taken her to Dr. Dillon.
