  [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #5006, Date of Import: Apr 26, 1997] Helen was baptized at St. Henry's and the sponsors were Lena Ziegler and Fritz Knichel. Helen died just a few months after making her first communion. She died during an operation to remove her tonsils. The operation was performed on the kitchen table at her home. Her brothers and sisters had a lasting memory of the blood stains on the ceiling. The morning of her death, as if she had a premonition, she tried to hide, to avoid the doctor.
