• Notes

  According to the Huntington VT Historical book 1786 - 1976, Georgia was the wife of Edson Pierce. They kept a store in the Center for many years. She was the descendent of Deacon Charles Brewster, Huntington's first Town Clerk. The Brewster-Pierce Memorial School, located in Huntington Center, was largely financed with funds left for that purpose by Georgia Brewster Pierce.
