  Born in Canada, he was the son of Peter and Mary (Leonard)Lesperance. With a previous spouse he was the father of Adelord, Evelyn, Gerard and Flossie Lesperance. He was a longtime railroad employee. In more recent years he had helped operate the Lesperance Nursing Home in Montpelier. He died at Fairfield Hospital, Newtown, CT, following a long illness.
