It is possible that he was born in Connecticut. He taught school
in Charlotte, Vermont.
He spent the latter part of his life in Beekmantown, New York.
Gravestone still standing at Beekmantown, shows the Masonic emblem.
(See Clinton County History). Dave and Mary searched National
Archives in Washington, D.C. on 8/2/89. We found an Abram Webb
that served in the War of 1812 in the Virginia Militia. There's no way
to tell if it's the right one.
